The Payment Tracker
Automatic payments can keep running until someone actively stops them. The Payment Tracker connects each payment to the account or card it comes from and records where to go to change or stop it.

Your working copy stays in this browser on this device. Prepared does not receive or collect what you enter.
To keep a separate copy or move your work to another device, save an encrypted backup. A readable record is not encrypted.
If a password is needed, it is usually safer to record where the password is stored rather than the password itself. This app records information; it does not give anyone legal authority to access, change, or cancel an account.
Add a Payment Source First
Step 1: Add the bank account, debit card, credit card, or other source the payment comes from.
Step 2: After the source is saved, add the automatic payments connected to that source.
Automatic payments are added from the payment-source card, so the source needs to be created first.
Saving, Sharing & Removing The Payment Tracker
Your browser remembers your working copy on this device. The Tracker does not store it, so keep a separate saved copy somewhere safe.
Save an Encrypted Backup
This is the copy to use if you want to keep editing your Payment Tracker later or move it to another phone, tablet, or computer. The backup is protected with a password you choose. Prepared does not receive the file or the password.
Good places to keep the encrypted backup are locations you already protect and know how to reach later, such as:
- Dropbox, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or OneDrive
- a computer you control
- an encrypted external drive or other protected backup location
If access to a cloud account may matter later, record that account and its recovery path in Prepared.
Save or Share a Readable Record
This creates a copy that can be opened and read without returning to The Payment Tracker. On a phone, you may be able to use the normal Share screen to save it to cloud storage, send it to yourself, or share it with a trusted person. On a computer, it can also be saved and printed.
This readable copy is not encrypted. Keep it only in a protected location you would trust with a readable list of your payment sources and automatic payments. Avoid public or broadly shared folders.
Remove The Payment Tracker from this device
Use this only when you intentionally want to erase the working copy stored in this browser, such as before giving away or replacing a device. It does not erase backup files or readable copies you saved elsewhere. Save an encrypted backup first if you want to keep the map.
